One Twenty Seven Photography now presents...

Portrait Parties

This is a brand new package I am now offering. All profits will help fund my trip to Haiti!

Portrait parties bring together friends and family for budget friendly professional photos taken in a relaxed, fun environment.

These sessions give everyone a custom portrait experience with One Twenty Seven Photography without the lofty investment of a full custom photography session.

Portrait Parties are for EVERYONE

-need updated photos of your kids or family

-want to try a themed session

-on a budget & want professional photos taken

-don't want to spend an entire hour getting photos taken
-want to spend time with friends

Then PORTRAIT PARTIES are for you!!!

How does a Portrait Party work?

Have you heard of all the in-home parties (such as Avon, Tupperware, jewelry etc.)? A portrait party is very much like that!

A portrait party is an event hosted in your home or at a nearby location (such as a park) where 127 Photography will take professional portraits for you and your friends in 20 minute mini-sessions.

Faith & Photography

I love photography and believe I should use my passion to bring glory to the Lord.

I have a small little photography business that I use to advocate for the orphan and the least. Every photo-shoot that I am blessed to book I donate a portion of the profits to my favorite ministries all over the world who are serving the least and I use a portion to fund my mission trips to Haiti, Alaska, and wherever else God wants to send me!

Haiti December 2013

It's been a long while since I last posted anything. I apologize. I took a break during the summer while traveling and then fall came & went in the blink of an eye. Next, I traveled to Haiti for the second time to serve and love on some sweet children at three different orphanages. Christmas and New Year's rushed by in hurry and now well, now I'm catching up!

God has put so many opportunities at my door which I am so thrilled about...I'll blog about those later.

For now, here are some pictures from my Haiti trip!!! I love this country and it people with a deep a passion!

Well, this sweet girl and her loving family needs us! Let's love on them and keep them in our prayers. God fills us up w/His unending love for a reason so, we can pour that love into someone else! Event Session {Softball Game}

Yesterday, I got the pleasure of photographing a high energy, crowd supporting, high school lady's softball game. The Electra Lady Tigers softball game to be exact! The young girl I photographed was a great team player, confident, and driven. This was my first event session like this! I'm hoping for many more to come. Here is a little sneak peek!

What a fun session!

Heartline Ministries + Amazima Ministries

I've known about Amazima Ministries for a while. It's an incredible program founded in 2008 by Katie Davis (www.kissesfromkatie.blogspot.com), Amazima Ministries serves the most vulnerable in Uganda through education sponsorship, feeding, vocational outreach, discipleship and medical care. Above all, Amazima desires that GOD is glorified and people who otherwise have no hope, would place their hope in Him, our Lord and Savior.

God has blessed me abundantly with all the opportunities to show others His love and grace through One Twenty Seven Photography. One opportunity being able to share about Amazima to others.

Also, if you haven't read Katie's book, Kisses From Katie, go NOW and buy it HERE!! Hurry, your heart will be beautifully broken!

A story of Relentless Love and Redemption...

Another ministry I now have a big ole' soft spot for is Heartline Ministries. Go HERE and read about how God is doing amazing, awesome things for the precious people of Haiti. I was introduced to Heartline last October when I stayed at their guest house during a mission trip. Heartline is a 501(c)(3) faith based organization formed to operate an orphanage, women’s program and other programs in Port-au-Prince Haiti. The organization was established in September of 2000 to formalize the independent work of John & Beth McHoul, who are the founding directors of the organization. John & Beth McHoul have been working in Haiti for over 20 years.

My team and I were so blessed to be able to tour the Maternity Center, Gift Shop which has tons of hand-crafted goodies by the beautiful women being served at the Women's Center where they learn how to sew, bead and cook!

...now go check out their websites and see what great things God is doing in the lives of Ugandans and Haitians needing some love!
